the Northbrook Park District is offering a zero-fee enrollment special for new members of TPAC to kickstart 2025

This month, the Northbrook Park District is offering a zero-fee enrollment special for new members of Techny Prairie Activity Center to kickstart 2025 with a renewed commitment to health and wellness.
Built in 2021, Techny Prairie Activity Center (TPAC) is a 44,200-square-foot building with a 6,000-square-foot fitness floor with cardio, strength and functional fitness training equipment; more than 50 group fitness classes weekly; an 8-laps-per-mile indoor walking track; and a multipurpose gymnasium for basketball, pickleball and volleyball. In summer, members can take outdoor aqua fitness classes and enjoy designated pool hours for water walking and lap swimming.
“Engaging in regular fitness activities can improve energy, reduce stress and enhance overall health, and staying consistent is key,” TPAC Manager Shawn Bernaky said. “We advise new members to start at a manageable pace, because small, sustainable steps lead to lasting success.”
