North Suburban YMCA Hosts Seniorpalooza Health and Fun Fair

May 20 event brought together local organizations offering presentations, health screenings, food and giveaways.

On Sunday May 20th the North Suburban YMCA hosted Seniorpalooza, a free health and fun fair for older adults. The event included a wide variety of programs to support individuals’ health, well-being, and social connection.
One of the highlights of the day was the performance by Dorothy Pauletti on piano, followed by a celebration of her 101st birthday. Longtime residents will remember Pauletti as a frequent performer at The Cypress Inn in Northbrook and Hackney’s in Wheeling and Glenview. Also performing were the Hummers & Strummers, a ukelele and singing band that has performed along the north shore for 14 years.
