Northbrook Art in the Park Returns Mother's Day Weekend

Art in the Park returns for its 4th year to Northbrook’s Village Green Park on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 in downtown Northbrook!

The park is a beautiful tree shaded venue perfect for seeing more than 80 artists showing paintings, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, photography and more. Live music in the gazebo, activities for kids, painting classes, selfie stations, and the “Kids Art Stop” where artists invite children to stop at their booth to learn more about the art-making process, add to the family-friendly vibe of this event. Festival food on site and several restaurants just steps away from the artists’ booths will ensure that no one goes hungry!

Admission is free and the park is wheel friendly with access for wheelchairs and strollers. Leashed dogs are welcome. Attendees are invited to bring their gently used wall art to the festival where it will be donated to the Chicago Furniture Bank, a nonprofit that distributes furnishings and art to those leaving shelters and moving into permanent housing. Several artists from this show are participating in Amdur Productions’ Green Ribbon Project. Artists place a green ribbon on a piece of art in their booth, and if the piece is sold, 10% of the sale will be donated to Amdur’s charitable partner, which is the Chicago Furniture Bank.
