Northbrook Company Sued for Alleged Unpaid Debt
A California bank seeks to recoup nearly $160,000 plus costs from Premier Food Inc.

Northbrook-based Premier Food Inc. is named in a lawsuit filed by a California banking institution claiming an unpaid debt.
Hanmi Bank filed suit in Cook County Circuit Court earlier this month against the company, doing business as the Great Steak and Potato in Aurora and Moonhie Oh - the president and secretary of Premier, according to the Cook County Record.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 9, 2007, Premier took out a promissory note with Hanmi Bank for $420,000, plus interest. Premier was required to start paying back the note monthly on January 2008, the suit states, but Premier’s last payment was Oct. 29, 2014.
