Northbrook Plastic Surgeon Michael A. Epstein Welcomes Maureen Spahr, RN to his Practice

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Michael A. Epstein, MD, FACS, founder of MAE Plastic Surgery and Transcend MedSpa (located in Northbrook) is pleased to welcome Maureen Spahr, RN to his practice.
Certified by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Injector Competence Training, Maureen has been an RN for over 25 years, and received her nursing degree from the Joseph School of Nursing at Mitchell College in Connecticut. Highly motivated and extremely successful, Maureen quickly became a supervisor for the surgical unit at one of Connecticut’s premier hospitals.
In 1995, she moved with her husband and children to Illinois, where she practiced as a family medicine nurse before realizing her true passion; aesthetic injectables. Eager to become a nurse injector, Maureen honed her skills and became certified in a variety of aesthetic medicine techniques including laser therapy, aesthetic injectables and soft tissue fillers. She has been working in the industry for the past 20 years, and with plastic surgeons for the past 10.

Because of her training, experience, and exceptional technique, doctors and nurses throughout the country have invited Maureen to share her knowledge, speak to their staffs, demonstrate her skill, and teach them the finer points of injecting. Sought after as one of the best in her field, she is a certified trainer for Medicis, the makers of Dysport, Restylane and Perlane.
A skilled perfectionist who prides herself on staying a step ahead by researching and learning about the latest products and procedures, Maureen’s greatest joy is helping her clients look and feel their very best. Friendly and very easy to talk with, Maureen takes her time, listens closely to her clients’ concerns, and develops a personalized treatment plan to successfully address them. She has a wonderful gift for making everyone feel comfortable and at ease.
