Northbrook's District 28 Music Receives Outstanding Program Award
It marks the seventh time the district has been recognized by The NAMM Foundation.

NORTHBROOK, IL — Northbrook District 28 is one of just 25 districts in Illinois to receive the "Best Communities for Music Education" designation by The NAMM Foundation. It marks the seventh time the district has been recognized for the honor.
"The consistency of receiving this recognition year after year is a testament to the core belief in the essential nature of music education in District 28," said band director Greg Scapillato, who completed the survey application for the award, according to the district.
Only 830 schools and/or districts nationwide were recognized by The NAMM Foundation.
