Public Invited to Northbrook Chamber Auction & Taste

Get your tickets now for an evening of delicious small bites and great socializing as the Northbrook Chamber's annual Auction & Taste Fundraiser returns from a two-year hiatus. Scheduled for Monday, Oct. 24, the Auction & Taste brings together a variety of the North Shore's most popular restaurants and caterers in the spacious ballroom of the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel, each offering tastes of their specialties accompanied by complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks.

Take a "tour" of delicious items from longtime favorites as well as new participants. This year's event will feature -- for the first time -- a tempting selection of dessert creations that will satisfy the cravings of your sweet tooth.

Taste participants include: Allgauer's on the Riverfront; The Claim Company; Gail's Brownies; Georgie V's' The Glen Club; Grill House; Marcello's; Max and Benny's; Mission Hills Club; Napolita Pizzeria & Wine Bar; Nothing Bundt Cakes; Pear Tree/Hel's Kitchen Catering; Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel; Ruth's Chris Steak House; Sarpino's; Shookies Cookies; Sunset Foods; Toffee Break Desserts; and Willow Hill.

While you savor your favorite tastes, join in the fun (and competition) of exciting live and silent auctions. Luxury products, valuable services, and memorable experiences are all up for bid, thanks to generous donations by chamber members. The evening will culminate in a live auction conducted by local legend Ron Bernardi of Sunset Foods. Throughout the event, Howard "Top Dawg" Wallach of A-Z Entertainment will keep the energy up with music and entertainment.

In addition to providing a wonderful showcase for restaurants and other businesses, the Auction & Taste serves as an essential fundraiser to help the chamber achieve its year-round goals and support important initiatives. Proceeds enable the organization to provide community outreach, partner with local nonprofits, and maintain affordable dues that keep chamber membership accessible to all types of businesses and organizations.
