Relative Of Homeowner Sees 2 Men Break In: Northbrook PD Blotter
The relative had heard banging coming from the back of the home, when the incident occurred.

NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. ARRESTS
SUSPENDED/REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE
- Valgas D. Etheard, of Evanston, is accused of driving while license suspended, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 7:56 p.m. April 12, at Waukegan and Dundee roads. He was released and assigned a court date of May 21.
- Alicia D. Hill, of Chicago, is accused of having a defective registration light, expired registration sticker, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 10:26 p.m. April 13, in the 600 block of Dundee Road. She was released and assigned a court date of May 21.
SUSPENDED REGISTRATION

Edgar A. Blanco Pena, of Chicago, is accused of having a suspended registration, no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 2:10 a.m. April 14, in the 1500 block of Shermer Road. He was released and assigned a court date of May 8.

ILLEGAL TRANSPORTATION OF CANNABIS
Joseph J. Sinnott, of Gurnee, is accused of having defective headlights and taillights, a defective windshield, illegal transportation of cannabis, and was arrested at 9:56 p.m. April 17, in the 3500 block of Dundee Road. Police found over 38 grams of cannabis in unsealed bags. He was released and assigned a court date of May 21.

INCIDENTS
BURGLARY TO AUTO
- Two cars — a 2011 grey Acura RDX and a 2016 black Kia Sorrento — were burglarized during the overnight hours of April 13 while they were parked unlocked in their driveways. Someone stole money and various other items from the vehicles.
- Three vehicles — 2014 white Honda Accord, 2019 black Audi & 2017 white BMW X3 — were burglarized during the overnight hours of April 14 while they were parked in the 2500 block of Shannon Road and 1900 block of Big Oak Lane. All the vehicles were unlocked and parked in the driveways. One of the homeowners captured the event on his home surveillance system. At 1:32 a.m., someone can be seen running up to the cars and opening the unlocked vehicles to steal items from inside.
THEFT
A resident in the 2400 block of Oak Avenue reported at 5:14 p.m. April 14, she had a package delivered to her house via a national shipping company. She was notified that the package was delivered on her doorstep, but when she returned home, the package was not there.
ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 200 block of Carter Court called police at 6:22 p.m. April 16, to report when she came home at 6 p.m., her relative told her that she had heard banging coming from the rear door of the house earlier in the day around noon. When she walked to the back door, she noticed two males had broken through the door. The males saw her and ran away. She didn't know what to do, so she waited until the complainant got home before calling the police.
