NORTHBROOK, IL — A homeowner witnessed a burglary-in-progress Saturday night in the 2600 block of Prince Street. Police said an adult member of the household called 911 and the burglar immediately fled.

The incident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. when the subject, who was dressed in all black, is believed to have entered the home through a rear door. According to police, it appears nothing was taken.
