School Board Candidates Continue Filing In Northbrook
Petition filing for next year's election began Monday and continues through Dec. 19 in Illinois.
NORTHBROOK, IL — With several days left in the official filing period, local candidates have begun filling out their petition packets with the Cook County Clerk's Office to run in next year's consolidated election in Illinois.
The clerk’s office will be open to receive petitions on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Monday, Dec. 19. The consolidated election is scheduled for April 4, 2023.
As of Thursday, in Glenbrook High School District 225, five candidates have filed to run for a four-year seat on the school board, according to the Cook County Clerk's Office. Candidates who have filed so far are:

- Sidney Shein, current member (term ends in 2023)
- Marcelo Sztainberg, current member (term ends in 2023)
- Jim Geldermann
- Paul Kelly
- Sandra Muhlenbeck
As of Thursday, in Northbrook/Glenview School District 30, three candidates have filed to run for a four-year seat on the school board, according to the Cook County Clerk's Office. Candidates who have filed so far are:
- Kevin Glowacz
- Pamela Manicioto
- Patrick Wang
