NORTHBROOK, IL — How did your journey, or your family's journey, to the United States begin? If you have an amazing story you'd like to share with the world as part of the annual Celebration of Cultures event, the North Suburban YMCA and the Northbrook Voices project want to hear it.

To participate, the YMCA asks you send a high resolution photograph (300 dpi but no larger than 7 inches) along with a 50-word caption about your or your family's journey to their website.

Stories collected will be displayed at the North Suburban YMCA Community Gallery and incorporated into a multimedia exhibit at the gallery as part of the Celebration, which is organized by the Northbrook Community Relations Commission for the second year running.
