Village Board: 'We Will Not Stand Silent' On Racial Inequality

The Northbrook Village Board is saddened by the acts of violence repeatedly inflicted on the Black community. As leaders of the Village of Northbrook we will not stand silent. We acknowledge the existence of systemic racism and injustice and want to express our outrage publicly. We are committed to confronting all forms of discrimination and hatred. We pledge as Village leaders to work hard, take action, and hold ourselves accountable for providing an inclusive community free of prejudice, where we value and celebrate our differences and raise awareness for the injustices that plague our society. Hate has no place here.
