Village Of Northbrook: Northbrook Grand Prix Set For July 28

On July 28, the Intelligentsia Cup bike race is coming to downtown Northbrook! The Northbrook Grand Prix debuts with fun for everyone from the avid cyclist to the newfound fan of the sport. This fast and punchy 1 KM course is sure to demand attention as it winds around the beauty of the Village Green Park.

The race course will proceed around Village Green Park starting on Shermer Road and then left on Meadow Road, left on Walters Avenue, left on Church Street, and left on Shermer Road again. To ensure the safety of racers, spectators, and staff, temporary road closures will be implemented along the course from 5am to 11pm on race day.

On July 7 from 4:30-5:30pm, there will be a public meeting at Village Hall regarding the Northbrook Grand Prix. Additional information about the event will be provided, and residents and businesses can ask questions of the local organizing committee and representatives from Intelligentsia Cup Chicago.
