Wescott School Ends the Year with a Reverse Car Parade

Wescott's end-of-the-year reverse parade was a wonderful tribute to the graduating fifth graders, and a great way to close out the year.

On June 8, Wescott School teachers, staff, Principal Dr. Chris Brown, and Superintendent Dr. Brian Wegley welcomed the end-of-the-year reverse parade of cars filled with happy students and parents! The staff held up signs expressing sentiments, like "Congratulations fifth-graders!," "You are special," "Hugs," "I Missed You," and "Thank you for a great year, Dr. Brown," and "Have a great summer!"

Many of the cars were decorated with balloons, and thank you messages popped up in many forms. Students held up their hand-made signs of appreciation, while some of the car doors displayed an array of grateful messages. There was definitely excitement in the air that has been missed by all these past few months. #WescottStrong!
