Northbrook 4th of July Fireworks: When and Where to Watch Them

Northbrook, IL—Celebrating the Fourth of July in Northbrook is an all-day affair, running practically from dawn until dusk and filled with parades, a fun run and, of course, a fireworks display.
Fireworks are scheduled at dusk Monday, July 4, at Meadowhill Park, 1479 Maple Ave., and Techny Prairie Park and Fields, 1750 Techny Road.
But before the pyrotechnics, residents can enjoy a variety of different activities. Here's a roundup of some of the events:

Liberty Loop 5K Run/Walk
- When: 7:30 a.m.
- Where: Techny Prairie Park and Fields
4th of July Breakfast
- When: 7:30 to 11 a.m.
- Where: Village Green Park, Shermer and Meadow roads
Liberty Lap Fun Run for Ages 4-10
- When: 8:30 a.m.
- Where: Techny Prairie Park and Fields
Mini-Golf Tournament
- When: 9 a.m. to noon
- Where: Sportsman’s Country Club, 3535 Dundee Road

Police vs. Fire Department Softball Game
- When: 10 a.m.

Rubber Ducky Race

Bike Parade
- When: 2:15 p.m.
- Where: Runs along Cherry Lane, starting at Western Avenue and ending at Shermer Road.
