Willowbrook Kids Take Stand Against Bullying with Lemonade Fundraiser
Willowbrook School parent Laura Fine contacted Willowbrook Principal Scott Carlson yesterday, after
receiving funds from the WilIowbrook kids' lemonade stand fundraiser
that was held on August 17.
She stated, "I just wanted to thank you for your continued support
of our yearly 'Welcome New Teachers' lemonade stand, which also raised
funds for the a no bullying charity! Each
year it seems to get bigger and bigger. I’ve been in contact with the
Co-Founder of the Take No Bullying organization in Glenview, and they
are so excited and thrilled with what our wonderful girls did! We
raised $220 yesterday; and couldn’t have done it without all of the
District 30 teachers' support! The girls will be hand delivering a
check to Take No Bullying in the coming weeks!"
