Willowbrook PTO Hosts "Trunk-or-Treat" Halloween Extravaganza!

On October 20, the Willowbrook School PTO hosted a multi-faceted-full-of-fun-evening at the annual Halloween Family Night event! Families created a Halloween trick-or-treat tailgate line-up (dubbed “trunk-or-treat”) in Willowbrook's parking lot. Cars were decorated with Halloween paraphernalia, lights, goblins, crazy creatures and more! Parents gave out candy to kids as they traveled from vehicle-to-vehicle.
Inside the school, the PTO was busy checking in families, and sold raffle tickets, Willowbrook water bottles and magnets.

Principal Scott Carlson made the rounds to all of the activities, greeting kids and parents throughout the evening, wearing his Willowbrook spirit wear shirt! There were games, face painting, temporary tattoos, and a circus act, which included engaging the audience with tricks, juggling and unicycle riding! The PTO Presidents Katie Schick and Melissa Carr organized the event with many committee/community volunteers.
