Woman’s Car Burglarized While She Was Dropping Child Off at Daycare: Police
It only took five minutes for the thief to make off with a Coach purse that was in the front passenger seat.
NORTHBROOK, IL - A woman who was dropping off her child at a daycare facility in the 1100 block of Techny Road last week returned to her car to find it burglarized, police said.
The woman was away from her unlocked 2014 Mazda for only five minutes between 8:05 a.m. and 8:10 a.m., but that was long enough for the burglar to remove her purple Coach purse from the front passenger seat.
The purse contained credit cards and miscellaneous identification.
