Woman Steals Tools From Worker Restoring Power: Northbrook PD Blotter
She allegedly took the tools, along with a tool bag, and hid them inside her residence, according to police.

NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
ARRESTS
RETAIL THEFT
- Guadalupe Flores-De Los Santos, of Chicago, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 2:28 p.m. May 26, at a business in the 100 block of Skokie Boulevard. A court date of June 15 was assigned.
- David E. Heidner, of Bloomingdale, is accused of two counts of retail theft, had three active warrants for retail theft out of Cook County, and was arrested at 4:03 p.m. May 27, in the 700 block of Skokie Boulevard. The manager of the grocery store recognized Heidner as a suspect in two previous alcohol thefts. A court date of June 15 was assigned.
ALCOHOL — UNDERAGE ADULT

Police observed an 18-year-old Northbrook resident exit a liquor store at 8:43 p.m., May 26, in the 2700 block of Dundee Road while carrying a case of alcoholic beverages. The subject got into a vehicle driven by another person and drove down the street. The officer then saw the vehicle make a few traffic violations and eventually stopped the vehicle. While conducting the traffic stop, the officer spoke to the young adult that made the purchase of alcohol. The subject said he was only 18 years of age, but used a fake ID to purchase the alcohol. He was charged with purchasing/possession of alcohol while under 21. A court date of June 15 was assigned.

Police were searching the area of the 3900 block of Dundee Road at 9:28 p.m. May 28, for a 2008 blue Chevrolet that was wanted for a hit-and-run incident by the Lincolnwood Police Department. The officers found the vehicle driving and attempted to stop it. After the vehicle committed several more violations, it finally stopped. The driver, Raul Martinez, was taken into custody and held for the Lincolnwood Police Department.
SUSPENDED/REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE
Tiffany M. Campbell, of Chicago, is accused of unlawful possession of a fraudulent identification card, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving while license suspended, and was arrested at 3:08 p.m. May 29, at Willow and Waukegan roads. A court date had not been set at the time of the report.
THEFT
Elizabeth S. Fay, of Northbrook, is accused of theft, criminal damage to property, and was arrested at 11 a.m. May 31, in the 1800 block of Somerset Lane. According to police, Fay stole tools and a tool bag of a utility worker who had been working to restore service in her area. When the worker walked back to his truck, Fay allegedly took the tools and hid them inside her residence. A court date of July 20 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
ID THEFT
An Oak Avenue resident reported at 1:36 p.m. May 26, someone obtained control over his iCloud account, made several purchases of items and picked them up at Apple stores in the area.
VANDALISM
A complainant called police at 4:29 p.m. May 29, to report someone put soap into a fountain, causing it to fill with bubbles. The subject also left graffiti on the side of the fountain.
FLEE AND ELUDE
Police observed a 2008 red Dodge Caliber disobey a red light at 10:47 p.m. May 29, at Waukegan and Shermer roads. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle fled. The vehicle disobeyed a second red light and continued out of Northbrook.
THEFT
A complainant called police at 3:15 p.m. May 31, to report someone stole $50 from his wallet when he left it unattended on a bench while playing basketball in the 2700 block of Techny Road.
