Zengeler Cleaners Opens New Location on Skokie Boulevard

Zengeler Cleaners is up and running at its new location at 792 Skokie Blvd. in Northbrook.

The new facility features “many leading-edge amenities that have proven extremely popular with the customers,” according to Americandrycleaner.com. The Metalprogetti conveyor system - fully automating the cleaning workflow from receiving the order, processing the garments, then sorting, bagging and tagging for pick-up - is among the new store’s most impressive features.

“Zengeler Cleaners is extremely proud of both the appearance and functionality of the new store,” said owner Tom Zengeler. “Our architect collaborated with the Village of Northbrook to assure this beautiful new facility was consistent with our neighbors and with the community as a whole. To achieve that while providing a modern, energy-efficient operation is a tribute to everyone on the team.”

The fifth-generation cleaner formerly had a store nearby on Dundee Road.
