15 North Center Businesses Offering Discounts For Donations

CHICAGO, IL — The Northcenter Chamber of Commerce has partnered with local businesses to launch the neighborhood's Season of Giving 2017. The campaign encourages residents to shop local and donate food and household items to those in need. Until Dec. 31, businesses will be collecting food and toiletry donations in exchange for special discounts and promotions.

The donations will go to Common Pantry, an organization that provides emergency food and personal items to about 1,000 people per month. Some of the current most-needed items are cereal, canned goods, condiments and toiletries such as toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo and soap.

The following businesses in North Center will be offering discounts and specials to shoppers who bring in donations:

• Centered Therapy Chicago (4124 N. Lincoln): CTC will be accepting donations at their office.
• CPR Cell Phone Repair (4007 N. Damen): BOGO on screen protection products while supplies last.
• Da Sorce (4353 N. Lincoln): All donors will receive a coupon for 10% off!
• Fulton Grace Realty (4141 N. Lincoln): $1,000 off closing costs (buyer or seller) when using a Fulton Grace realtor.
• GB Group (3932 N. Lincoln): Accepting donations.
• Great Clips Lincoln Square (2321 W. Lawrence): $2 off haircut with a donation.
• Lincoln Foot & Ankle Center (4112 N. Lincoln): Drop off donations at your next appointment!
• LYRIQ Music School (1906 W. Irving Park): Bring your donations to your local music school!
• Rev. Billy's Chop Shop (4314 N. Lincoln): 15% off any purchased shelf products with a donation.
• Ruby Nails (4017 N. Lincoln): Customers who bring in items for food drive can extend their massage for the service for 10 extra minutes.
• Stella Grey Blooms (2057 W. Irving Park): 10% off with donation.
• Swedish Covenant Immediate Care (2019 W. Irving Park): Your local immediate care center is accepting donations.
• Windy City Playhouse (3014 W. Irving Park): See the acclaimed Becky Shaw at the Playhouse and bring your donations with you!
• The Wishcraft Workshop (3907 N. Damen): 10% off winter break camps for anyone who participates in the season of giving. Receive the code to use with registration with your donation.
• zulu dog + cat boutique (3919 N. Lincoln): Bring your pet food & supply donations when you bring your pet in for a grooming session, and receive $5 off your next visit.
