Writer/Director/Producer Lia Crawford has weeks left to raise $12,000 on Indiegogo, an international crowdfunding site where anyone can raise money for film, music, art, charity, small businesses, theater, and more. Support is needed to complete production on her short film, 42:24, about a spiritual woman who has her beliefs challenged by an unexpected houseguest. A 2013 Best Script Winner at the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival in Atlanta, 42:24 explores spirituality through Ancient Egyptian culture, a subject of public fascination for thousands of years. 42:24 has already raised $2,446 through its PayPal link on the film’s website at http://www.4224theshortfilm.com. The website features the trailer for the unfinished short film, provides links to its Indiegogo page (http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/42-24), as well as additional resources about the film and attached talent and crew. Visitors can also connect to the Facebook page for 42:24 (http://www.facebook.com/4224short) and contact Lia, via email, through the site.
