Chicago Scholars Associates Board holds first annual UnTied Gala

The Board honored Chicago's "35 Under 35" who are contributing to positive youth development

On Friday, April 24, Chicago Scholars Associates Board held its first annual UnTied Gala at Ovation Chicago to honor the city’s “35 Under 35” who are positively impacting youth development.

Honorees, including Tarrah Cooper (press secretary to the Mayor) and William Heard (CEO of Heard Capital), were recognized at the urban-chic “anti-gala” for lifting up the next generation through their work across a variety of industries. Attendees donned college tees, dressed up with blazers, in support of Chicago Scholars.

Sold out with 365 attendees in its first year, the UnTied Gala is a unique addition to the Chicago events scene.
