Chicago's First Italian Beef Festival Coming To Avondale

The festival will offer Revolution beer and sandwiches from Al's Beef, Mr. Beef and Buona Beef.

CHICAGO, IL — The city's first Italian Beef Fest will be held on the North Side later this month, organizers announced. Revolution Brewing is hosting the event at 3340 N Kedzie Avenue on May 26. The festival will offer sandwiches from Al's Beef, Mr. Beef and Buona Beef.

The event will also include a beef eating contest and a guest appearance by Elliot Bambrough of WGN's food show Chicago's Best.

Tickets are $30 and include three Italian beef sandwiches and three Revolution beers. $5 from each ticket goes to the Anthony Rizzo Foundation, an organization that supports children who are battling the disease and raises money for cancer research.
