Roscoe Village Winterfest Events Announced

Celebrate the holiday season with community events for people of all ages.

CHICAGO, IL — Kick off the holiday season with a neighborhood gathering at the Roscoe Village Winterfest 2017. The event will feature the neighborhood's annual tree lighting ceremony, children's activities, choirs, a trolley, and of course Santa. Winterfest will be held Dec. 2 and 3.

Roscoe Village's tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. Dec. 2, at 2108 W. Roscoe St. Carolers will entertain the crowd during the ceremony.

After the tree lighting, attendees are encouraged to do all their festive shopping that evening in neighborhood stores for the Saturday Night Stroll, and enjoy food and beverages at local cafes.

Then on Dec. 4 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., people of all ages are invited to come outand enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh, carolers, trolley rides, and of course the jolly man himself.
