Watch Halloween Creep Steal a Giant Pumpkin

Maureen Lyan decorated the front porch of her Chicago home with several pumpkins — one of which weighed in at 50 pounds. And some guy walked onto her porch one night and stole one. And the next night, he stole the 50-pounder. Lyan’s security video camera recorded the evening creeper’s thieving ways on Oct. 23 and Oct. 24 in the Roscoe Village neighborhood as he made her “front porch into his very own farmer’s market.”

“It’s a stolen vegetable in the murder capital of the world,” she told DNAinfo, keeping the theft in perspective. Still ... “I hope some public shaming will do him good.”
