• Developer to demo 3 Northfield buildings to make way for 92-apartment building (therecordnorthshore.org) — Northfield officials have cleared the way for a 92-unit luxury apartment building on Central Avenue, approving key ordinances to consolidate lots and vacate part of Hawthorne Lane. The four-story project will replace three vacant office buildings and target empty-nesters and families rehabbing nearby homes, adding amenities like underground parking, fitness space, and a roof terrace to the Central Avenue corridor.
