• Steel Distributor UPG Enterprises Files Chapter 11, Seeks Buyers (distributionstrategy.com) — An Oak Brook-based steel distributor, UPG Enterprises, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and is seeking buyers for many of its U.S. operations while keeping businesses running. The company expects to complete sales within about 60 days, has lined up interim financing, and says it plans to keep paying employees and serving customers as the court-supervised process moves forward.
