Perry’s Steakhouse &amp; Grille will celebrate National Pork Chop Day on Thursday, August 27, 2026, with a special four-course menu available for $44 at its three Chicago-area locations in Oak Brook, Schaumburg and Vernon Hills. The menu, available for dine-in only upon request from 4 p.m. to close, includes all of Perry’s Pork Chop favorites plus more.
Guests can select one dish from each of four individually sized courses — Starters, Soup/Salad, Entrée and Dessert — built around Perry’s signature 18 oz. Famous Pork Chop, along with pork-inspired starters, soups and desserts. Perfect pairings include the Perry’s Hog-Hattan (19) and Perry’s Reserve Pinot Noir (7.5 oz. 16 | 5 oz. 11) (originally 21 | 15.50). Perry’s National Pork Chop Day Special is available upon request for dine-in only on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 4 p.m. to close. Tax and gratuity are not included. A suggested gratuity of 18% will be added to parties of six or more; it is company policy that guests have the unrestricted right to determine the final amount of gratuity, free from compulsion or negotiation. Perry’s National Pork Chop Day Special is not available to-go or for private dining events.

RAD Golf Fest 2026 – Benefiting the Tony Laughlin Memorial Fund
Join us this September in Oak Brook for the 4th Annual RAD Golf Fest — a community-driven golf outing and festival experience supporting youth mental health, grief support, and inclusive education initiatives throughout Chicagoland.
Hosted by the Tony Laughlin Memorial Fund, RAD Golf Fest brings together more than 250 golfers, sponsors, local businesses, and community members for a full day of connection and impact. The event features an immersive 20-hole golf scramble, on-course contests, live music, food and beverage, raffles, vendor activations, and an evening awards reception.
100% of the Proceeds from RAD Golf Fest directly benefit nonprofit partners including Willow House, which provides grief support services to children, families, and individuals coping with loss, as well as Embracing Our Differences, an organization dedicated to promoting empathy and inclusion through art and education.
Whether you’re registering a foursome, sponsoring the event, or attending the post-golf festival, your participation helps expand access to vital mental health and grief support programming for youth and families in our local communities.
RAD Golf Fest is open to golfers of all skill levels and welcomes individuals, families, and corporate teams looking to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a day on the course.

Twenty-five years after the attacks of September 11th, Invisible Wounds Foundation marks that anniversary with our 2026 Evening of Honor, featuring special guest Martha Raddatz, ABC News Chief Global Affairs Correspondent and co-anchor of This Week, and author of the New York Times bestseller The Hero Next Door, recognizing the courage, patriotism, and commitment of those who have served our country.
Raddatz will interview Dr. Rocco Armonda, an internationally renowned neurosurgeon, retired US Army colonel, and member of IWF's Medical Scientific Advisory Council, whose work is also featured in The Hero Next Door. They'll discuss his experience treating military and civilian victims of traumatic brain injury in Ukraine and other conflicts. Emmy-winning ABC 7 Chicago anchor Mark Rivera, who has interviewed Raddatz on air, serves as our master of ceremonies.
The evening begins with a 5:00pm cocktail reception at the Morton Arboretum's open-air Firefly Pavilion, followed by dinner and program at 6:30. We'll share inspiring stories of patriotism and purpose, and the critical work Invisible Wounds Foundation is pursuing to help our nation's warfighters address the invisible wounds of war. Every guest will receive a signed copy of Raddatz's book, The Hero Next Door.
