Xfinity Brings Illumination's “Minions & Monsters” to Xfinity Store in Oak Brook

The Xfinity Store in Oak Brook transformed into a Minions-inspired destination on July 2, welcoming Xfinity members and local residents for an afternoon of sweet treats, giveaways, photo opportunities and a firsthand look at Xfinity's latest innovations, including same-day WiFi, which allows new Chicagoland customers to get connected quickly through same-day delivery or store pickup of their WiFi equipment.

One of only a number of Xfinity stores nationwide selected to host a Minions-themed takeover celebrating the release of Illumination's Minions & Monsters, the Oak Brook event featured music and giveaways from 101.9 The Mix, including movie tickets, along with themed gelato and cotton candy from local businesses Jesse's Gelato and The Spin of It.  

As part of a celebration spanning more than 700 Xfinity stores, the event also highlighted the perks available through Xfinity Membership, including exclusive collectibles, movie experiences and special in-store activations inspired by the film.
