• Judge orders Joliet man held pre-trial on fleeing charge after I-355 chase (dupagepolicyjournal.com) — An Oak Brook police traffic stop on I-355 led to a high-speed pursuit of a driver wanted from North Riverside, with speeds reportedly reaching 85 mph before a helicopter-guided arrest near an I-80 weigh station. DuPage County prosecutors say the Joliet man, already on pre-trial release and parole, is now ordered held without bond on an aggravated fleeing charge, with his next court date set for November 2.
