2 Dead, 7 Injured in Robbins Rollover Crash
Woman dies in crash. Four children among the injured, Robbins fire official says.

A three-vehicle crash left two dead and seven people injured in Robbins on Thursday evening, a fire official said.

Capt. Mickiel Smith, of the Robbins Fire Department, said the crash occurred at 8:10 p.m. near the intersection of 137th Street and Central Park Avenue.
One of the cars had rolled over on its roof with two adults and a child entrapped inside. There were also people on the ground that were ejected from the other vehicles when firefighters arrived on the scene, Smith said.

A woman entrapped in the rolled over vehicle, and one other involved later died. Seven others were injured, including four children.
Multiple ambulances from nearby communities responded, where the injured were taken to four different hospitals.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, Smith said.
Area fire departments assisting Robbins firefighters included Blue Island, Oak Forest, Calumet Park, Oak Lawn, Crestwood, Evergreen Park and Midlothian.
