1 Killed In I-57 Crash Sunday: Report
The multi-vehicle accident happened on I-57 near Markham late Sunday night, according to reports.
MARKHAM, IL — One person was killed, and several others injured in a multi-vehicle crash on I-57 near Markham late Sunday night, NBC-5 reports.
The accident occurred just before 11 p.m. Sunday in the southbound lanes of I-57 near 159th Street and Crawford Avenue, according to the report. Name and age of the deceased were not immediately available Monday morning.
NBC reports that photos of the crash show three cars involved: one car on fire, and two others damaged.

Southbound lanes were closed overnight, but reopened Monday at 5 a.m.
Illinois State Police are investigating the crash.
