Driver Killed In Two-Car Crash In Oak Forest: Police
Police are investigating after one person died in a crash at 159th and Cicero Avenue early Wednesday.
OAK FOREST, IL — Oak Forest Police are investigating a two-car crash that killed one driver early Wednesday.
Police were called just before 1 a.m. August 3 to the scene of a crash at 159th Street and Cicero Avenue. The driver of a Dodge Challenger was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Oak Forest Police Chief Jason Reid. The driver of a second vehicle was taken to an area hospital for treatment, and is in stable condition, Reid said.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team (SMART) is assisting Oak Forest Police in its investigation.
All roadways were cleared and traffic had resumed as of 6:30 a.m.
