2 Juveniles Stabbed During Fight In Midlothian: Police

MIDLOTHIAN, IL — Two juveniles suffered serious injuries when they were stabbed during a fight in Midlothian on Friday night, authorities said.

According to Midlothian police, officers responded to the 14500 block of Knox Avenue shortly after 10:30 p.m. after receiving a call about shots fired and possible stabbings. When police arrived, they discovered both victims were stabbed during a fight involving multiple people.

The victims were taken to area hospitals where police said they were in serious to critical condition.

A suspect was taken into custody and is being held at the Midlothian Police Station pending further investigation, police said. No additional information was immediately available.

The incident remains under investigation.
