OAK FOREST, IL — Two Chicago men have been arrested in connection with the April 11 fatal shooting of a 30-year-old Alsip man at an Oak Forest intersection, police said Tuesday.
Oak Forest police responded to a call of shots fired at the intersection of 167th and Cicero Avenue Saturday just before 5 p.m. Officers found 30-year-old Latrell Williams, of Alsip, shot multiple times in the left side of his body, police said Sunday. Williams was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Preliminary investigation indicates that Williams had stopped in the median lane at the intersection when an unidentified suspect or suspects pulled alongside his vehicle in the left-
turn lane and fired multiple rounds into his vehicle, striking him, police said.
