2 Suspects In Custody After Car Crash, Foot Chase: Oak Forest PD
Two suspects crashed what police said was a stolen car, before fleeing on foot, Oak Forest police said late Friday.
OAK FOREST, IL — Two suspects were in custody late Friday night after leading police on a foot chase following a crash involving a stolen vehicle, police said.
The crash happened near 163rd and Central Avenue around 10:30 p.m. The suspects fled on foot toward the George Dunne Golf Course. Oak Forest police deployed canine officers and helicopter units in the search.
The suspects were taken into custody around 11:45 p.m., Oak Forest Police Chief Jason Reid told Patch.
