Abandoned Senior Pup Wins Hearts of 100 Potential Adopters
"Dooby" has a face that apparently many potential mothers could love, as close to a hundred people have inquired about giving him a home.

OAK FOREST, IL β The animal rescue volunteer group who desperately want to find a home for an abandoned senior pup has been inundated by responses from those touched by the dog's story.
Friends of Oak Forest Animal Control are currently wading through about 100 hundred applications for the 14-year-old pup Dooby, whose graying face and sad eyes melted hearts.
"We are overwhelmed with the care and concern for this pup in just one day, and we thank everyone for their outpouring and support," said Laura Gray, on behalf of the group.

Gray said they will work through applications from those interested, which includes potential rescues and foster situations. While encouraging to see so many step up for this pup with such a sweet face, there are so many more out there who need the same love and interest.
"There is only one Dooby, but plenty of deserving seniors in local shelters and rescue organizations that would love a second chance just like Dooby."
