The candidate chosen as the 2026 Chicago Gaelic Park Queen shall reign as Queen for one full year. A runner-up will also be chosen. During St. Patrick’s week, the new Queen and runner-up will be given seats of honor high atop the Gaelic Park Parade Float. The Queen and runner-up will also represent Gaelic Park at various special events during the year. The Queen and runner-up will also enjoy our Irish Fest August 21-23. Valuable gifts and prizes will be bestowed upon the newly crowned Queen and runner-up. The Queen receives 2 round-trip ticket to Ireland. All young women are invited to enter the contest, if they meet the following requirements.
• Are 18-29 years of age by June 13, 2026
• Must be of Irish Heritage
• Unmarried
• $10.00 registration fee
Crowning ceremony at 7pm on June 13th in the Carraig Beer Garden. No admission fee.

Q. Do I need to have a talent to enter?
A. We know all of our applicants have many talents, but the contest does not have a talent portion. Being yourself is all you need for our Queen Contest.
Q. What is the dress code?
A. Plan on having 2 outfits for June 13th. 1st - Dressy casual for interview portion. Think daytime dresses. 2nd - Evening wear/formal attire for the crowning ceremony.
Q. What events do contest participatns partake in on the day of the contest?
A. ~3:30PM - Arrive (in interview outfit). Contestants speak with our 3 judges. After interviews there is a short dinner break. 7pm - Evening portion/crowning ceremony in the Beer Garden (evening wear). Be sure to invite your friends and family!
