Eleanor C. Ferraro Scholarship Fund Dress Resale

The Eleanor C. Ferraro Scholarship Fund awards District 228 Fine Arts Students Yearly. Eleanor was active in many organizations in Midlothian, but her service on Bremen District 228 School Board from 1976- 1987 was the most rewarding and brought her immense joy. She made it a point to attend the Fine Arts events for all of the District 228 schools and she enjoyed each and every performance and art exhibit.

When Eleanor passed away in 2003, her family made the decision to keep her memory alive at District 228 by building a scholarship foundation in Eleanor's name. The Eleanor C. Ferraro Scholarship Fund has been financed by Eleanor's children and fundraising events. The scholarship is a non profit tax deductible charitable organization. The Dress Sale is open to the public and open to all schools in the area.
