• Third Rabid Bat Found In Oak Forest: Cook County (patch.com) — Oak Forest residents are being warned after a third bat in recent weeks, found near the 6200 block of El Morro Lane, tested positive for rabies. Officials urge pet owners to keep animals leashed and vaccinated, and advise anyone bitten or exposed to a bat to contact a doctor and report wild animals to Cook County Animal and Rabies Control.
