It's prom season, folks, and your editor got in on the fun. I posted a prom photo from Mother McAuley's "At Last" prom from my senior year, 2001. A big, poofy white dress and a pile of curls pinned atop my head, I still love my prom picture—even if it does look a little outdated. Want to share yours, or your prom memories? Visit our Facebook page and post away! Didn't go to prom? You're not alone! What did you do instead? Tell us!

  • Caroline Evans: I don't know what's better: The dress, the hair or the prom theme.
  • Michael Meneghini: I did not go to prom so I have no pics to show.
  • Scott Slonski: Ha! I wore a white tux with tails and top hat. No way that pic will see the light of day!
  • Krista Kaleta Attreau: You look beautiful!!!! I'll post mine...
  • Kathleen Bard Richmond: Some of us nerds didn't make it to prom -- oh, well.

Thanks to the friendly stylists from John Amico, your Patch editor had a little fun with some pink in her hair on Monday. It was all part of Oak Forest High School's to increase awareness of breast cancer.

  • Rebekah Dierking Mensing: That's great! More young women are getting breast cancer everyday and it's important that they stay aware.

Did you attend Wednesday's Benefit with a View? We wondered who had bought a ticket ahead of time.

  • Leda Smaga Brunzie: I bought mine and can't wait!

Speaking of the benefit, thanks to fan Damy Feliz, who reminded your editor how much Chris Medina fans and Juliana Ramos supporters like Patch to keep them in the loop.

  • Damy Feliz: Just wondering if Patch will be live blogging for "Benefit with a View" tonight?!
  • Oak Forest Patch: Actually, we weren't planning on it... But I know you DO love to follow our live-blogging... Maybe I'll look into it.
  • Damy Feliz: No worries... :) I am sure there'd be more than a few Juli supporters around the world that would absolutely love it, too, since we can't be there in person! Either way, have a wonderful time tonight!

Wednesday morning, police were , walking along the bike path near George Dunne golf course. Thanks to reader Bill Griffin, for the tip.

  • Carolyn Marie: yikes
  • Scott Newton: I just finished a run about 30 minutes ago. No wonder why I saw the cops.

At Feliz's suggestion, your editor decided to live-blog from the benefit, posting live video and photos as the night went on, for the enjoyment of all those who couldn't be there. Two Juli supporters were particularly grateful.

  • Linda Susini D'Angelo: I love you Lauren! :) Thank you so much for keeping us prayer warriors in the loop tonight! You are awesome!!! The video's and pictures were great! I loved getting to see Janet talk to everyone... you helped us feel part of Juli's special night... we so much wanted to be there... BUT we were there in spirit! Many prayer~warriors with one heart full of love and prayers for Juli! Thank you again for all you did for us! God bless you Lauren! See you tomorrow on Patch!
  • Jeannie Gelberg Armstrong: Thank you so much for making us feel we were all at the benefit last night!!
