Free Pantry/Blessing Box Available at Redeemer's Lutheran Church

Redeemer's Lutheran Church at 158th and Lavergne in Oak Forest now has a Free Pantry/Blessing Box that is available to anyone in the community who needs help between paychecks, food pantry visits, or whatever else comes your way. The box sits on church property and is filled with baby food, cereal, soup, and other items. It is available 24/7. These boxes have been spreading throughout the country and NBC Nightly News recently had a segment on them. They are sustained by the community, for the community, with the philosophy of take what you need, give what you can.
