Missing Oak Forest Man Found Safe: Police

Mieczyslaw Krol is safe and back with his family Wednesday evening, police said.

OAK FOREST, IL — A 69-year-old Oak Forest man reported missing early Wednesday was found safe by a Good Samaritan, and has been returned to his family, police said Wednesday evening.

Krol had been reported missing earlier in the day. last seen in the area of Calumet City.

He was found around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and is safe with his family.
