A unique museum on wheels will make a stop at the Acorn Public

Library this June. The Mobile Museum of Tolerance, from the Simon Wiesenthal
Center, will be located in the library’s north parking lot on Monday, June 12
through Thursday, June 15 from 1:00pm-6:00pm.

The Mobile Museum of Tolerance’s purpose is to inspire people of
all ages and backgrounds, empowering them to raise their voices and combat

Modeled after the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center’s
successful “Tour for Humanity” bus, which has visited hundreds of schools
across Canada since launching in 2013, the MMOT is the first of its kind in the
United States.

MMOT utilizes innovative technology and interactive lessons to
inspire thousands of Illinoisans to stand up to hate and strive toward positive
social change. Learn more about MMOT at mmot.com.
