Oak Forest HS Grad Steals Spotlight Singing with Idina Menzel
If Vince Rossi was nervous to sing alongside the superstar, it didn't show.
Oak Forest High School alum Vince Rossi made a name for himself at the school, as one of the Class of 2008’s Happiest People—but we bet even he never expected to hit this high note.
Rossi was recently pulled on stage to sing with Idina Menzel, at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 3. Rossi sang along with Menzel’s, Take Me or Leave Me.
Menzel plucked Rossi from the audience, for the performance to sing with her in the aisle, and as BroadwayWorld.com wrote, ”he totally owned it.” Then Menzel proceded to grab another fan, and the three proceeded to the stage to finish the song. Tony Award-winning Menzel has a career that includes stage, film, television and music. Her voice can be heard as Elsa in Disney’s global box office smash Frozen, in which she sings the film’s Oscar-winning song “Let It Go.”
