One Reported Dead in Midlothian Shooting

One person was killed Tuesday evening in a shooting in Midlothian, police confirmed via social media.

The incident occurred in the 3600 block of 153rd Place, mere blocks from Bremen High School. There is no threat to the community, as police say the shooter fled the area.

The South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force and Midlothian police are investigating. The victim’s identity is not known at this time.
