Pizza Beats Out Burgers in National Consumer Survey

Olive Garden and Pizza Hut take the top placings in the opinion of 80,000 American consumers surveyed, according to The Chicago Tribune.

Pizza over burgers? That's what consumers seem to think.

A recent survey through the American Consumer Satisfaction Index points to consumers' preference for a pizza pie over a burger and fries, according to a recent article in The Chicago Tribune. With nearly 80,000 consumers surveyed, the survey index rated satisfaction with a number of national full-service and limited service restaurants on a 100-point scale.

Olive Garden took top prize of sit-down, full-service restaurants. Red Lobster was a close second, followed by Outback and Chili's.
