Weapons are called personal treasures at Arbor Park middle school and apparently allowed! Unbelievable, Please read letter parents received!
On December 14th, 2016 @7:00pm, there will be a board meeting. If you care about our community, children or school system please come and voice your concerns. Students should not be faced with weapons in schools. Calling the weapon a treasured item insults the intelligence of parents and community members. According to Senate Bill 100, students who bring weapons to school are considered to have made an egregious offense. Allowing that student back in class without a consequence until calls were made is ridiculous behavior. If you care about our school district and students, please come or email your displeasure with the decision made.
