Redeemer’s Community Garden accepting applications!

Redeemer’s Lutheran Church at 158th and Lavergne in Oak Forest is still accepting applications for our on site community garden beds. This is our third year and we are looking forward to the growing season. Our garden consists of 7 beds, ready to be planted. The use of the beds is free to all veterans and link card holders. Otherwise there is a $50 donation requested, with $10 of that returned at the end of the growing season, which is from April 1st to October 31st. We have several rain barrels on site and use only organic products. These are great projects for schools, scouts, or if you live in a condo, apartment, or assisted living.
